Proper Food is a culinary brand dedicated to providing freshly prepared, nutritious, and convenient grab-and-go meals in urban locations. We are on the lookout for an exceptional Store Operations Supervisor to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Maintain clear communication with management regarding store requirements.
- Oversee inventory management and order placement.
- Conduct daily and weekly cleaning and operational duties.
- Restock food items and merchandise as needed throughout the day.
- Prepare orders, brew coffee, and serve soups.
- Process customer transactions through the point of sale system.
- Deliver catering orders on foot.
- Manage cash handling procedures within the store.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid NYC Food Handlers card.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in store or shift leadership.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-driven attitude.
- Positive, friendly demeanor with a team-oriented mindset.
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Note: A valid food handlers card is required upon hire or must be obtained within the first 15 days of employment.
We offer both full-time and part-time positions.
Our primary shift needs include:
Monday to Friday: 6:15 AM - 7:30 PM
