Role Overview:
The Cooling Application Engineer is a pivotal role for a skilled mechanical engineer with a focus on the Cooling and HVAC sector. We seek an individual with extensive knowledge and practical experience in both refrigerant-based and chilled water systems. This includes familiarity with various equipment such as DX/CW cooling units, chillers, pump packages, condensers, dry coolers, control systems, fans, and piping layouts, as well as custom-engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in project and field applications, providing sizing for pre-sale project quotations and proposals.
- Deliver post-sales support for systems utilizing these products.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC or cooling industry.
- Proficient understanding of refrigerant and chilled water systems and their applications.
- Familiarity with quoting and project proposal processes.
- Experience collaborating within a global network of resources.
