Chester's International is on the lookout for 2 Area Training Specialists to oversee vital markets throughout the United States. The ideal candidates will operate from a home office conveniently located near a major airport in one of the designated regions: Texas, Denver, CO, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, or Nashville, TN.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Area Training Specialist will provide essential guidance and support to franchisees and non-traditional locations. This role will involve assisting with new store launches, special initiatives, training programs, initial inventory management, and participation in trade shows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support franchisees in new store openings and training processes. Develop training plans and ensure all necessary materials and tools are prepared ahead of scheduled sessions.
  • Engage in trade shows and grand openings within a specified geographic area.
  • Guide and assist franchisees to maintain compliance with all brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors to guarantee that franchisees receive their initial inventory.
  • Ensure that physical locations meet company brand standards.
  • Conduct on-site educational workshops and training sessions for franchisees.
  • Perform various administrative tasks including follow-ups, weekly expense reporting, and class preparation.
  • Address field issues promptly, providing necessary support to distributors and customers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports and records.
  • Promote a collaborative environment among internal and external teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant operations.
  • Demonstrated success in training within a restaurant operations context.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Experience in supermarkets or delis is preferred.
  • Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning industry-specific software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Willingness to travel by car, air, train, or water, with 80% overnight travel required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 or more consecutive hours.
  • Must be able to sit for 8 or more consecutive hours.
