Position Summary: The Service Technician Specialist is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment in various locations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs of equipment independently, providing detailed service reports based on field observations.
- Maintain regular communication with the central office to relay updates and discuss service challenges, as well as engage with clients to determine their service requirements.
- Facilitate training sessions for customers on the proper operation and upkeep of equipment.
- Offer technical support and service assistance post-sale as necessary.
- Oversee the upkeep of facilities and surrounding areas.
- Assist with logistics including shipping, receiving, and managing inventory.
- Collaborate closely with employees from the international parent company.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant service experience, ideally within a maintenance context.
- Strong technical knowledge encompassing electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Effective and courteous communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Familiarity with standard PC software, including MS Office and email applications.
- Capability to capture and send digital images via email.
- Possession of a passport or willingness to obtain one.
- Openness to international travel as required.
- Residing in or near the designated service area.
