Role Summary

The Regional Convenience Store Manager is responsible for enhancing the organization's market presence and driving financial success by identifying new store opportunities, boosting store profitability through increased program engagement, and maintaining a thorough understanding of current market dynamics.

The key responsibility of the Regional Convenience Store Manager is to seek out new members through networking, outreach, and other methods that generate interest from potential convenience store operators while managing a portfolio of existing member stores.

Main Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue potential new members
- Recognize key decision-makers within prospective organizations
- Strategize approaches and presentations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create proposals that address member needs and objectives
- Employ various negotiation styles to effectively persuade
- Partner with marketing personnel and other internal teams to fulfill customer requirements
- Organize and engage in internal and external debriefing sessions with prospects
- Provide weekly progress updates and ensure data accuracy
- Maintain accurate records within the company's CRM or sales management system
- Set and forecast enrollment goals; monitor activities and assist in closing gaps to achieve these targets
- Conduct visits to existing member stores to recommend strategies that enhance participation in marketing initiatives
- Perform compliance surveys at member stores and offer recommendations to ensure adherence to program standards

Qualifications

- Education: High School diploma or 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing within the convenience retail industry.

Additional Skills and Qualifications: Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Sales Motivation, Customer Needs Identification, Territory Management, Market Insight, Enrollment Goal Achievement, Professionalism, CRM Proficiency, and Microsoft Office Skills.

Compensation Structure
  • Annual Base Salary: $50,000
  • Monthly Vehicle Allowance: $600
  • Store Enrollment Incentive: $200
