Job Overview:
The Regional Commercial Banking Executive will oversee the commercial lending operations and relationship management efforts within the designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the bank's representative in the region, ensuring alignment with the institution's vision to be the preferred financial partner and a recognized leader in the business community.

Lead sales and business development initiatives aimed at enhancing loan portfolios, increasing deposits, generating non-interest income, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve corporate objectives.

Accountable for the profitability of the regional markets, focusing on pricing strategies, net interest margin optimization, non-interest income enhancement, and operational efficiency in line with corporate benchmarks.

Ensure high standards of asset quality across the region, holding Commercial Lending Officers accountable for maintaining risk management and credit culture standards.

Promote the bank's culture of accountability through effective communication, employee recognition, team engagement, performance management, and ongoing professional development.

Achieve or surpass annual performance targets aligned with the strategic plan, including budgeted return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA). Retain key personnel to minimize turnover.

Supervise Lending Officers and other staff, ensuring accountability for performance and adherence to HR policies regarding recruitment, retention, and compensation.

Set the standard for exceptional customer service as outlined in the bank's strategic vision, taking ownership of customer experience recovery for service-related issues.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the most valuable customer relationships in the region, supporting bankers in business development and customer retention efforts.

Engage actively with Local Advisory Boards, fostering their role as community ambassadors and ensuring their contributions align with the bank's expectations for community influence and business referrals.

Participate in strategic planning and execution, taking ownership of assigned priorities.

Lead by example in accordance with the company's Servant Leadership philosophy, ensuring outstanding service for both internal and external customers.

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing financial institutions and perform additional duties as necessary to meet business needs.

Stay informed on trends and conditions affecting the banking sector and the market areas, adapting to changes in the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technological landscapes.

This role may involve special assignments as directed by executive leadership.

Qualifications:
Required: Regional Commercial Banking Executive with a focus on commercial lending and relationship management.

Qualifications:

An MBA or related graduate education is preferred. Completion of a graduate-level banking program is advantageous. A minimum of five years of banking experience in a leadership role is essential.

Experience should encompass leadership in areas such as commercial banking, retail banking, mortgage services, wealth management, and marketing. Previous experience in a similar executive role at a comparable institution is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with boards of directors, executive leadership, management, staff, and clients. Proven skills in directing business development initiatives within the defined region, leveraging personal sales expertise. Ability to engage constructively with all stakeholders.

Established track record of developing, communicating, and implementing strategic initiatives that meet organizational objectives at various levels.
