Job Summary:

Pathology Laboratories is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collecting blood specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.
  • Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control in the laboratory.
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen processing and testing.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
  • Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
