The Patient Care Technician provides high-quality patient care and support services to patients in a hospital setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Assist with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic life support certification required.
