Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Efficiently manage patient appointments, including scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes.
  • Handle phone calls and direct patients to the appropriate staff member or department.
  • Accurately register patients, create patient accounts, and maintain accurate records within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Process insurance verifications, authorizations, and payment collections in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, such as data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic office support skills, including MS Office, data entry, and basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is desired but not required.
