Collaborates with the Director to oversee and execute marketing strategies for service lines, along with traditional and digital advertising initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility of The Queen's Health Systems (QHS) and its associated entities.

Ensures that marketing initiatives align with established objectives and timelines, reinforcing QHS's position as a leader in healthcare within Hawaii.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SERVICE LINE MARKETING:

Under the guidance of the Director, develops written content and partners with an internal creative team and service line representatives to create both traditional and digital marketing collateral that supports new and ongoing programs and services.

Coordinates and executes additional marketing projects and activities as assigned.

EVENT MARKETING:

Takes charge of organizing and coordinating all event-related marketing details, including display materials, promotional items, advertisements, and giveaways for expos, health fairs, and other events sponsored by QHS.


ADVERTISING:
Assists the Director in media purchasing and advertising logistics.

Manages direct mail initiatives for QHS, acting as a liaison between Creative Services, internal departments, and external printing and fulfillment partners.


DIGITAL MARKETING AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENT:
Responsible for crafting and updating website content.
Performs other related tasks as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent:

standing, lifting weights up to 25 pounds; carrying weights ranging from 5 to 20 pounds; reaching above, at, and below shoulder level; repetitive arm/hand movements, climbing stairs.


Occasional:

twisting body, pushing/pulling.



WORKING CONDITIONS:
Generally not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.


EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of two (2) years in a Marketing or Communications role, ideally within a corporate, healthcare, nonprofit, or advertising/public relations agency setting.


Required Skills:
  • Ability to manage marketing functions and initiatives.
  • Strong writing and editing capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in collaborating effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with web monitoring and analytical tools is highly desirable.
