Controller for a Charitable Organization

This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing a secure environment for children in need, offering specialized therapeutic and clinical services, educational support, and prioritizing cultural sensitivity to positively impact the lives of those it serves.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current financial data for individual programs, program clusters, support departments, and the entire agency
  • Develop medium- and long-term forecasts for programs, program clusters, and the overall agency
  • Supervise all facets of financial management, including reporting systems, adherence to GAAP standards, internal controls, and safeguards
  • Direct third-party billing and customer service, implementing quality assurance processes, and overseeing system improvements aligned with the strategic plan
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience
  • 5 years of prior experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience working for a non-profit is a must
  • Proficient in adapting to new systems
  • Personable and friendly demeanor is a must
