Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage delivery schedules and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the order process.
  • Collect accounts receivable and work with the credit department to ensure timely payment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market intelligence, customer referrals, and industry events.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity to provide value-added services to customers.
  • Drive a motor vehicle to visit customers and prospects, requiring occasional lifting and carrying of up to 75lbs.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.
  • A valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle record are required.
