Position Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated nursing professionals for per diem roles across our three nursing units within our Long Term Care Facility.

Compensation Differentials:

  • Per Diem: Additional $2 per hour
  • Evening Shift: Additional $3 per hour
  • Night Shift: Additional $5 per hour
  • Weekend Shift: Additional $2 per hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials)

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possession of a current LPN license or a compact license recognized by the State of Vermont is mandatory.
  • Strong aptitude for learning, excellent customer service, and teamwork skills are essential.

Preferred Experience:

While prior experience in long-term care is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy and compassion, reliability, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow through on tasks are necessary. Basic computer proficiency is also required, along with a commitment to patient care and exceptional customer service.

Care Units Overview

Long Term Care Unit:
Our long-term care services build upon a rich tradition of high-quality care, offering tailored nursing support and daily living assistance, along with engaging programs and activities designed to meet the unique needs of our residents.

Memory Care Unit:
This unit is specifically designed to cater to individuals experiencing cognitive decline due to dementia. Our early-stage program focuses on activity-based care in a supportive and safe setting, aiming to uphold dignity, purpose, and functional ability.

Post Acute Care:
The Post Acute Unit is dedicated to providing structured, goal-oriented care following surgical procedures or hospital stays. Our specialized treatment programs are designed to facilitate a swift return to independence, addressing a variety of conditions including strokes, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, respiratory challenges, and recovery from trauma.

Therapy services are routinely available Monday through Friday, with the option to extend to six days a week as needed. Nursing staff play a crucial role in supporting therapy initiatives, ensuring continuity of care through activities such as walking and exercise supervision.
