Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a highly skilled clinician who serves as a resource to other staff and departments, providing expert consultation and implementing improvements in healthcare delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert consultation to all care providers
- Implement improvements in healthcare delivery systems
- Develop and implement education programs for staff
- Conduct research and evaluate evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC)
- 3 years registered nursing experience in area of specialty
- Equivalent coursework and experience will be considered
