As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Yark, you will oversee all sales operations.

Your role will involve generating and managing sales leads, as well as facilitating the delivery of new vehicles, playing a crucial part in our team's ongoing success.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome customers on the sales floor and conduct a needs assessment to determine the make, type, and features of the desired vehicle.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and operations in the showroom or during test drives.
- Utilize a computer database to research the availability of models and optional equipment.

- Collaborate with Sales and Finance Managers to negotiate the sales price, including taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or leasing requirements.

- Inspect inventory visually by walking the lot.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
- Deliver the vehicle and ensure the customer is familiarized with its features.
- Attend and complete required training sessions and departmental meetings.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements

- Minimum of one year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and prior sales experience are essential.

- Organizational skills and thorough follow-up are critical for maintaining contact with clients before and after the sale.

- A current valid driver's license is mandatory for all employees.

- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
