Position Overview:

We are seeking an Event Sales Manager who embodies a passion for excellence and possesses a comprehensive understanding of the sales process. This role is pivotal in driving both inbound and outbound sales while consistently achieving event sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the quarterly event sales strategy as directed by the Director of Sales and Chief Sales Officer.
  • Generate new business opportunities while fostering repeat clientele.
  • Develop a robust client base to enhance event sales and direct catering leads to the Catering Sales Manager.
  • Thoroughly understand all event and catering packages available.
  • Leverage marketing tools to capture leads effectively.
  • Analyze competitor offerings to strategically position our services.
  • Maintain a guest-centered approach in all interactions.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for key reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for detailed banquet event orders.
  • Create memorable guest experiences throughout the booking process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of high-volume sales experience, preferably in hospitality, dining, or entertainment sectors.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
