OVERVIEW
Fortress Building Products is in search of a Territory Manager to oversee the Pacific Northwest region, specifically focusing on E. WA, ID, and MT. The ideal candidate will embody a strong sense of ownership, be self-motivated, and possess leadership qualities. This role requires high energy and an entrepreneurial mindset to effectively sell, train, and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, builders, and homeowners.
This position is home-based and necessitates regular travel within the designated territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain an energetic and comprehensive understanding of our product offerings.
- Train, motivate, and coach dealers, contractors, and key influencers.
- Build and sustain long-term business relationships with contractors in the territory.
- Ensure dealer sales personnel are equipped to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate on a business plan with TM/RSM and distribution partners.
- Develop market penetration strategies to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Respond promptly to leads and convert them into viable opportunities.
- Utilize CRM systems effectively and accurately.
- Present sales proposals professionally.
- Exceed monthly sales objectives.
- Participate in sales and technical training sessions as required.
- Stay informed about industry products, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate market conditions, including product updates and dealer changes.
- Embrace a mindset of extreme ownership and proactive engagement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of successful experience in building products or related sales.
- Experience in two-step distribution and engagement with all channel members.
- Strong sales leadership and business acumen.
- Ability to develop structured activity plans from a home office.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A driven personality with a winning attitude.
- A commitment to the success of Fortress Building Products.
- A reliable vehicle and mobile phone.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-40% overnight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous.
- A strong technical understanding of the building materials industry.
This role operates in a professional/home office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers. Light to moderate lifting may be required, along with the ability to manage the demands of travel.
