We have an opening for a driven individual to take on the role of Technician Dispatcher Scheduler. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Technical Services team. A background in technician scheduling is essential for managing both service and installation support for Budderfly.
Importance of This Role:
Budderfly deploys a range of advanced technologies to enhance energy efficiency at our clients' locations. Ensuring these technologies function optimally is critical to our success. This position is integral to the team responsible for maintaining the efficiency of these technologies while maximizing customer satisfaction. The individual will oversee all dispatching and scheduling operations for the Technical Services team, leveraging their scheduling expertise to manage service and installation support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize dispatching software and GPS tracking to schedule and inform service technicians of work order assignments.
- Receive check-in calls from service technicians and relay information regarding their next assignments.
- Provide support to internal technicians.
- Maintain customer repair records in the database to ensure a comprehensive history of work performed.
- Manage the dispatching board to optimize technician capacity.
- Oversee the on-call schedule and inform technicians of their assigned weeks.
- Communicate the schedule and emergency contact numbers to the answering service.
- Understand and manage the service work order module and service contracts.
- Engage actively in all aspects of dispatch operations.
- Fulfill various reporting duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar technician dispatching role.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with technicians and clients.
- A commitment to continuous learning, both technically and professionally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across various organizational teams.
Compensation: $22—$26 USD
Compensation is determined by factors such as experience level, skill set, qualifications, and location.
