Key Responsibilities- Greet clients with enthusiasm and warmth, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Accurately obtain client/patient information and record information within charts.
- Chart preparation and filing, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments, utilizing online software to manage schedules.
- Assist with invoicing and verifying invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Check emails and voicemails, responding promptly to client inquiries.
- Take client messages and medication/appointment requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Process payments, scanning in and sending patient records via email/fax.
- Participate in client education, providing valuable information and resources to clients.
- Open and close the hospital, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist/Technician, with at least 1 year of veterinary experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing quickly and efficiently.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills, with a basic knowledge of veterinary care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.
