Sales Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at Lofton Minneapolis by Hilton. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and marketing efforts, ensuring seamless communication with clients, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist sales and catering managers in all facets of the sales/marketing/service process, including typing, copying, faxing, mailing, distributing, and filing related correspondence.
- Answer and respond to incoming telephone calls, exercising decision-making skills to direct callers based on requests.
- Enter data to produce contracts, correspondence, forms, memorandums, STS, and OnQ management system updates.
- Organize, file, distribute, fax, and perform other essential functions necessary in the daily department operation.
- Act as a liaison between Sales and Catering Manager(s) and clients in Sales and Catering Manager's absence.
- Relieve receptionist at lunch and off days as needed, and perform supportive functions during the absence of other sales and catering assistants.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent organizational skill, multitasking skill.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to input data into a word processor at a minimum rate of 40 w.p.m.
- Basic secretarial knowledge such as business letters, formats, and telephone etiquette.
Accountability:
- Error-proof correspondence.
- Work completed in a timely fashion.
Experience or Training Required:
Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, typing, and communication skills and abilities. High school diploma required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
