Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing bakery operations, and leading a team of bakery clerks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in overseeing daily bakery operations, including ordering and inventory control, product quality, and team supervision.
  • Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays to maximize visual appeal and sales.
  • Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, and validate that team members are aware of and following these procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
  • Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously, with occasional lifting and bending.
