Job Summary

Primoris is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and technical assistance in support of the human resources function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling drug screens, backgrounds, and orientation coordination.
  • Enter data and process new hires and other employee and manager transactions in the system of record.
  • Act as a resource to employees and managers on routine human resources matters via the HR Help Line, fax, and email.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of various human resources programs and refer employees and specialized resources or leaders when appropriate.
  • Sort and distribute departmental mail.
  • Assist in the administration of assigned programs.
  • Collaborate with business partners from the human resources, payroll, safety, and fleet teams to assist employees and leadership.
  • Prepare reports and perform routine audits.
  • Assist in processing of departmental bills and organize and order departmental supplies.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in business or related field required; Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or related field desired or equivalent experience.
  • Previous administrative support and/or data entry experience highly desired but not required.
  • Ability to accurately enter a high volume of data consistently and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain and protect confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills and ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of individuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic to proficient computer skills (MS Office).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) desirable but not required.
