About the Job

RMA Group, a leading multi-sector group with over 8000 employees and an operational presence in 14 countries, is seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Business Development Manager to join its team. As a key member of the RMA global vehicle modifications business, this role will be responsible for driving sales growth for parts and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in the parts and accessories segment.
  • Business Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and freight forwarders to drive sales growth for parts and accessories. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Key Account Management
    • Provide proactive parts proposals, including service guidelines and stock recommendations.
    • Lead in parts proposal preparation to offer along with Global Fleet Sales offers.
    • Participate in parts tenders and ensure all requirements are met and submitted on time.
  • Product Portfolio Management
    • Collaborate with the product development team to optimize the parts and accessories portfolio, including new product introductions, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Market Expansion
    • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including geographic expansion and entry into new customer segments.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Be the point of contact for USA parts shipments management, invoices, and other documents.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Provide excellent customer support and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Foster a collaborative spirit within RMA Modifications departments and Global Fleet Sales partners (located in the US) and results-oriented mindset.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance in CRM systems, market trends, and competitive analysis for the direct manager.
    • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the business strategy.
  • Budget Management
    • Manage the budget for the parts division, ensuring efficient cost control.
  • Adherence to Company Policies
    • It is essential that the selected candidate adhere to our company's policies and procedures, including ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in sales activities.
Background and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Automotive industry (in automotive parts and accessories considered a plus).
  • Proven track record of success in parts sales or business development.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.
  • Willingness to travel as required (overseas).
  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams (including with teams based overseas).
