Position Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to empower and equip every learner with the confidence, courage, and skills necessary to fulfill their aspirations; contribute to the community; and engage in lifelong learning through foundational technical services that promote accessible, equitable, and user-friendly systems. This position is crucial in delivering training that enables all users to effectively and efficiently meet the organization's mission.

This role is part of the Instructional and Informational Technology Team (I2T2), which provides essential technical assistance to a diverse population of students and staff across multiple locations.

The responsibilities include managing a significant number of computing devices and mobile technology, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with technology services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first-level installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for all computing devices and classroom hardware, including network connections.
  • Provide initial technical support following established procedures and tools.
  • Document daily activities in the work order system and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct training sessions on the use of classroom, mobile, and instructional technologies.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software as requested.
  • Perform other comparable duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues and explaining technology to end-users.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, ChromeOS, and iOS.
  • Ability to respond to help desk requests through various communication channels.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing and documenting tasks.
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a K-12 educational environment.
  • Proficiency in a language other than English.
