About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Technician to join our team at Global Finishing Solutions. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve problems related to controls, programming, electrical, air replacement systems, environmental equipment, mechanical, installation, manufacturing, product specifics, and other equipment needs.
  • May need to travel to customer locations to resolve issues.
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather and document product and customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers where applicable to prevent future contacts.
  • Document all interactions through contact tracking and follow up with customers to ensure successful resolution and corrective action items are taken as needed.
  • Evaluate, identify, and document opportunities to drive process improvements to positively impact the customer's experience and reduce quality and warranty costs.
  • Utilize ERP system to track orders and issue necessary materials.
  • On-call responsibility for customers as necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED along with 2-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing controls, VFDs, heat, air conditioning, and programming.
