We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented professionals to fill the role of Pest Control Technician.

This position includes a comprehensive 5-week paid training program aimed at equipping you with the necessary skills and resources to excel in the pest control industry, with no prior experience required. Key Responsibilities:

As a Pest Control Technician, your primary duties will involve collaborating with various clients in the hospitality sector and other commercial enterprises. You will deliver high-quality services and identify effective solutions to pest-related challenges, thereby assisting our clients in safeguarding their brand and enhancing their operational success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong working relationships with diverse clients and advising them on best practices for pest management.
  • Staying informed about Ecolab's product and service offerings as well as industry trends to enhance service delivery and sales of pest prevention solutions.
  • Utilizing handheld computerized tools to manage service operations and document structural, sanitation, and pest-related issues.

This role is classified as heavy work.

Position Overview:

Your route will encompass a designated territory, and your work schedule will involve a combination of shifts.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $43,000 - $53,000 per year.

As a leader in the industry, Ecolab provides a world-class training program designed to equip you with the skills and resources necessary to excel in your role. Training will require travel to Ecolab's Corporate Headquarters for one week, with the remaining training conducted in the field. Ecolab will cover travel expenses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of two years of work or military experience.
  • A valid Driver's License with a satisfactory motor vehicle record, capable of maintaining a company vehicle in good condition.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to be on-call during off-hours and weekends as needed.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds at chest height.
  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp or dusty environments, and extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform essential physical tasks, including lifting, stooping, kneeling, and balancing.
  • Must be capable of wearing a respirator.
  • Possess or be able to obtain necessary pest certification and/or business licensing as required by local laws.
  • Must pass a drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to sell value-added products to existing clients.
  • Previous experience in pest control or route management is preferred.
