JOB DESCRIPTION

BASIC FUNCTION:
Accountable for delivering exceptional external customer assistance and facilitating internal processes related to sales. Ensure timely and secure delivery of product orders to customers while promptly addressing any delivery issues that may arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and update pricing structures and customer information within designated systems.
  • Confirm customer pricing and sales terms, and manage customer quotes, summary billing configurations, and rebates in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure customer pricing and requirements are accurately captured in the Price Offer Management system, while keeping all parties informed of significant issues or accounts.
  • Accurately input customer order data into SAP following departmental procedures established by the Manager.
  • Engage with the plant shipping department to relay order details and establish delivery timelines to support production planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with transportation and warehouse suppliers to ensure orders are dispatched as planned, and communicate shipping information to customers.
  • Handle returns, credits, and debits in SAP in line with established protocols.
  • Oversee the coordination of imported products through the chain order process in SAP.
  • Manage orders with third-party suppliers via the third-party order process in SAP.
  • Monitor and resolve customer issues or complaints related to pricing discrepancies, non-conforming products, and other associated matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A High School diploma or GED with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service, accounts payable, or order processing. Experience in export logistics or international business within the industrial chemical sector is preferred. Import/Export experience is highly desirable.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and analyze issues with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to establish rapport with customers and carrier vendors.
