Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the District Project Manager is to oversee the technical elements of medium-sized electrical assembly project orders, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and timelines.

The role requires a strong involvement in both the technical (electrical/mechanical) aspects of significant project orders and effective management of deliverable timelines.

Daily tasks will be performed independently, while collaboration with the field sales team and centralized resources will be essential for managing documentation and commercial requirements.

The objective is to enhance value and establish a robust project order management process that distinguishes Eaton from competitors while optimizing financial outcomes for both the company and its clients.


In this role, you will:
  • Oversee assigned project orders to enhance value and improve financial outcomes.
  • Facilitate order transition meetings with sales, project coordinators, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Implement project management methodologies to support financial and timeline objectives.
  • Review project specifications and contracts for technical accuracy prior to order entry.
  • Manage technical changes to the bill of materials.
  • Utilize centralized resources for documentation package creation and perform necessary reviews.
  • Provide technical support and address warranty issues.
  • Represent sales during customer inspections and approval meetings.
  • Ensure proactive communication of accurate information to customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze project specifications and establish fiscal baselines.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Work with relevant teams on any service-related items.
  • Resolve issues related to changes, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Complete project closeout from both fiscal and documentation perspectives.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the electrical industry.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Electrical Engineering.
  • PMP certification.
  • Five or more years of project management experience.

Compensation:
