Job Overview

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in managing restaurant operations, developing the team, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Manage, train, and coach restaurant team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Direct and assign restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to and monitor employee compliance with the restaurant employee handbook, policies, and practices, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and administrative tasks.
  • Customer Service: Reinforce a customer service mentality and ensure all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving complaints in a professional and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management experience required, with experience running shifts without supervision.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, basic math, reading, and computer skills, with the ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions.
  • Availability: Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
