Compensation Range: $20.00 - $30.00

The listed salary is based on company-wide standards. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as restaurant brand, experience, education, geographical location, applicable minimum wage, unit volume(s), hours worked, and potential overtime pay.

Position Overview:

The Restaurant Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring that sales and profit objectives are met while delivering outstanding guest experiences and adhering to company policies.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the District Manager and supervises both the management team and hourly staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the restaurant's sales and profit targets.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify issues and implement corrective measures to enhance performance.
  • Stay informed about local market trends, competition, and opportunities, and collaborate with the District Manager to implement effective local store marketing strategies.
  • Ensure new product launches are executed according to established standards.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s operational guidelines.
  • Guarantee that all menu items are prepared and presented in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
  • Keep abreast of communications by reviewing memos and emails.
  • Report product deficiencies to the District Manager.
  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through efficient service and a welcoming environment.
  • Manage inventory levels for food and non-food items effectively.
  • Ensure the safety of all restaurant employees and guests, addressing accidents promptly to minimize liability.
  • Supervise assistant managers, providing guidance and regular performance feedback.
  • Prepare management work schedules in line with company expectations.
  • Ensure hourly employee schedules align with labor staffing guidelines.
  • Complete administrative records as per company standards.
  • Organize employee and management meetings to foster a positive work environment.
  • Facilitate training and development for employees and managers.
  • Administer corrective actions when necessary.
  • Recognize and reward outstanding employee performance.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes for hourly staff.
  • Manage personnel administration, including record-keeping and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling and security policies.
  • Adhere to human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal health, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of management experience in the hospitality sector.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
