Position Overview

This role is integral to the enforcement of security protocols necessary for adhering to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and relevant government security regulations, policies, and procedures.

The primary responsibilities encompass the management of daily security program requirements for the National Air and Space Intelligence (NASIC) security initiative. This includes maintaining comprehensive records, manuals, and documentation while overseeing the administration of security DD254 forms, policies, and procedures in alignment with Department of Defense standards or other pertinent agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, monitor, and ensure the accuracy of DD254 forms, maintaining 100% compliance.
  • Assess contractor eligibility for participation in contracts and provide guidance to contracting officers to ensure adherence to NISP requirements.
  • Conduct thorough research and reviews of Performance Work Statements (PWS), Sole Source Justifications, and Performance Surveillance Requirements (PRS) to assist in the preparation of procurement packages and contract specifications.
  • Support technology protection initiatives with customized security language.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and verification of personnel security clearance information in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
  • Address complex security challenges and develop innovative solutions and policy recommendations.
  • Assist in the appointment of contract monitors and ensure compliance with contract security specifications for projects requiring access to special compartmented information (SCI).
Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM and its application to the Industrial Security Program, including aspects such as personnel security, classified information systems Assessment & Authorization, classified contract management, and physical security.

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required, with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Proven experience in enforcing security policies and procedures, along with management of a cleared facility.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership, and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is between $85,000 and $140,000, reflecting the typical salary based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
