Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Lead Security Operations Manager to provide exceptional support for our client. This role will encompass administrative functions, security oversight, Information Protection (IP), and Communication Security (COMSEC) assistance throughout various phases of capabilities planning, acquisition, development, production, and sustainment of equipment and weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and related activities.
  • Analyze security challenges and define alternative solutions.
  • Provide insightful recommendations and compose detailed reports.
  • Conduct security site evaluations for Enhanced Use Monitoring, which may involve international travel and collaboration with foreign stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant DoD, USAF, and AFMC security regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and associated guidelines.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet one of the following educational criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 6-8 years of comprehensive security experience.
  • High School diploma with 14-16 years of dedicated experience in DoD security functions.

Additional requirements include:

  • Experience in platform/aircraft system program offices.
  • Knowledge of Program Security, Security Classification Guides, and Program Protection Plans.
  • Possession of an active DoD SECRET security clearance.

Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
