Business Development Manager

Ryder System is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new customer business within your assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop pre-sales strategies for target accounts and create a sales activity pipeline to meet and exceed required quota revenues.
- Represent the full spectrum of Ryder services to new and potential customers, working closely with ARs and CDMs to transition accounts and increase sales opportunities.
- Identify prospect needs and value components through quality needs assessments and value-based proposal preparation.
- Develop account selling strategies to improve effectiveness and contribute to an effective transition of accounts sold.
- Report sales activity to management and create supportive working relationships with CBUs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Finance and Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years or more demonstrated consecutive sales excellence in prior sales responsibilities.
- Good understanding of Ryder's product offerings and ability to interpret financial data.
