We are seeking a dynamic and experienced 1st Shift Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations during the first shift. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of strategic planning.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness of production operations.

* Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that schedules, deadlines, and quality standards are met.

* Collaborate with other department managers to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.

* Foster a well-trained and motivated staff, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing training programs.

* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

* Analyze production data, identifying and implementing improvements to increase productivity and profitability.

* Monitor equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repair to minimize downtime.

* Manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock of resources and materials.

* Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs and delivering on financial objectives.

* Prepare and present reports on production metrics and progress to senior management.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production management role in the manufacturing industry.

* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.

* Excellent strategic planning skills, with the ability to implement plans effectively.

* Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing, motivating, and developing a team.

* Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret production data and metrics.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
