Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager in the daily oversight, coordination, and successful execution of projects, ensuring they meet time and budgetary goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to develop the overall construction plan.
- Assist in preparing checklists for project initiation and completion.
- Maintain updates on submittals, contracts, insurances, and material tracking.
- Prepare and monitor logs for tracking shop drawings, contract documents, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and material deliveries.
- Work with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure timely material delivery.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all project plans, specifications, contracts, and related documents.
- Keep the Project Manager informed of any issues or challenges that arise.
- Foster positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and municipal authorities.
- Actively participate in or lead various project meetings.
- Document meeting minutes and prepare packets as directed by the Project Manager.
- Assist in tracking project closeout activities with administrative support.

Qualifications:
- A background in construction is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with scheduling software and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Knowledge of Procore Construction Management Software is advantageous.
- Strong typing skills are recommended.
- Ability to demonstrate effective client relationship management, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications is preferred.
