CHA Consulting, Inc. is actively seeking an Electrical I&C Engineer to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Manufacturing Team.

In this role, the Electrical I&C Engineer will work independently to support the design, implementation, and technical evaluation of various systems, adapting new products or modifications to existing frameworks to meet client specifications. This professional will collaborate with senior engineers to prepare technical documentation, contract specifications, and cost assessments for a range of engineering projects. The individual will manage multiple assignments efficiently, ensuring compliance with client, contractual, and organizational standards.

Furthermore, the Electrical I&C Engineer will identify technical inconsistencies in analytical findings, implement necessary corrections, and adhere to established protocols set by the technical team. This role requires familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the practices and standards of both the firm and its clients. Additional engineering responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience is required.
  • A strong desire to learn about the engineering discipline is essential.
  • Solid theoretical knowledge in the engineering field is necessary.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes is preferred.
  • Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Understanding of project budgeting processes is essential.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist mid and senior-level engineering and project management staff is important.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Participation in a professional engineering organization is preferred.
