CHA Consulting, Inc. is actively seeking an Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Manufacturing Team.

YOUR ROLE

As the manufacturing landscape evolves, CHA is at the forefront of understanding these changes and their implications for our clients. Our skilled teams are adept at aligning industry trends with client aspirations, guiding them from initial planning through design and operational enhancement to achieve cost efficiency.

In this role, the Electrical I&C Engineer will work independently to assist in the design, implementation, and technical evaluation of various systems, tailoring solutions to meet specific client requirements. This position involves supporting senior engineers in the preparation of technical documentation, contract specifications, and cost assessments for diverse engineering projects. The engineer will manage multiple assignments efficiently to fulfill client and company objectives.

Moreover, the Electrical I&C Engineer will identify and rectify technical inconsistencies in analytical outcomes, adhering to established protocols. This professional will gain familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, alongside the practices and standards of both the firm and its clients. Additional engineering responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience is required.
  • A strong eagerness to learn about the engineering field is essential.
  • Solid theoretical knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline is necessary.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes is preferred.
  • Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Understanding of project budgeting processes is essential.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist mid and senior-level engineering and project management personnel is crucial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Participation in a professional engineering organization is preferred.
