Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Workflow Management: Maintain workflow processes and establish clear lines of communication with key stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status & changes.
- Project Management Software: Establish and maintain project management software.
- Budget Oversight: Provides oversight and management of budgets and account reconciliations.
- Administrative Support: Manages administrative requirements as needed for major marketing projects and initiatives.
- Policy Development: Works with team to develop and maintain Marketing Department Policy and Procedures documentation and communication.
- Vendor Management: Manages and maintains contracts with third-party vendors including but not limited to contractors, freelancers, and other marketing-related agencies.
- Vendor Oversight: Maintains an active list of all third-party vendors.
- Campaign Execution: Works with vendors to ensure quality campaigns are launched in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process Improvement: Works with members of the Campus Store, Events & Conferences, and Marketing & Communication to develop outline workflows and a plan for instructional documentation for each area.
- Experience: 2-3 years experience serving as a project manager. PMP certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Project Management Software systems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree. Preference in marketing, business administration, or related field of study.
- Skills: Experience in developing and tracking workflow processes and operations to improve efficiencies in departmental deliverables and metrics.
- Time Management: Experience in dealing with multiple deadlines and tasks executing tasks under tight deadlines.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and enhance relationships campus-wide.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Problem Solving: Ability to assess problems and situations to identify issues, needs and solutions.
- Flexibility: Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for special events.
- Communication: Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience in Microsoft Office 365, as well as other software platforms and technology as needed.
