Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our healthcare technology solutions team, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on patient care and support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Manage equipment schedules and service requests to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain PM procedures and manuals for equipment, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Respond promptly to clinical department calls to evaluate and resolve equipment issues.
  • Research and procure repair parts, working within budget parameters.
  • Provide training and support to equipment users and Crothall Services Group staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
  • Valid driver's license (for field service positions requiring travel).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications for tracking service histories and producing reports.
