Maintenance Planner

As a key member of the Maintenance Team at Cambria, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for effectively planning and scheduling maintenance to optimize manufacturing productivity and uptime. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration between Maintenance and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze incoming work requests to identify scope and required planning levels.
- Convert work requests into work orders and define priority levels.
- Conduct field walk-downs to document job requirements, including materials, tasks, and specialized equipment.
- Develop and maintain detailed job plans for routine maintenance, collaborating with experienced craftsmen.
- Participate in weekly meetings with Operations and Maintenance leadership to create a weekly maintenance schedule.
- Communicate with tradespeople and supervisors to ensure clear instructions and efficient job execution.
- Maintain and audit the work order backlog, ensuring timely scheduling and material availability.
- Coordinate with contractors for outsourced work orders, managing approvals and point of contact.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED/Technical two-year degree (Preferred)
- Five years of work experience in skilled industrial trades
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Maintenance, automation, or manufacturing experience
- Mechanical skills, including electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math skills

Physical Requirements:
- Stand on feet for long periods during a shift
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout the shift
- Bend over multiple times throughout the shift
Task-Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- Steel-toed boots
- Hearing protection
- Safety glasses
- Cut-proof gloves
