Position Overview

The Culinary Team Leader role is pivotal within our kitchen brigade, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and coach team members to achieve excellence.
  • Identify areas for operational enhancement and implement improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and sanitation protocols.
  • Meet financial objectives and budgetary goals.
  • Set benchmarks for culinary quality.
  • Oversee maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Manage inventory levels and communicate needs effectively.
  • Assist in the development of menu specifications and monitor compliance.
  • Ensure all kitchen management procedures are followed, including checklists and cleaning schedules.
  • Facilitate culinary training and development for team members.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team for success.
  • Address performance issues through constructive feedback.
  • Support the onboarding process for new culinary staff.
  • Maintain high standards for food ordering, preparation, and service.
  • Collaborate with other locations as required.
  • Manage the culinary department budget and control food waste.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in a culinary leadership role.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Understanding of financial management principles.
  • Passion for hospitality and culinary arts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
