Key Responsibilities of the Receivables Management Specialist:

  • The Receivables Management Specialist will ensure all customer interactions are conducted with professionalism and promptness.
  • Maintain follow-ups, track commitments, and ensure adherence to promises made to clients.
  • Manage collection duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Oversee the timely collection of overdue balances from business-to-business accounts.
  • Notify clients of overdue balances through various communication methods, including phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
  • Address inquiries from clients regarding outstanding invoices.
  • Investigate discrepancies and reconcile customer accounts as necessary.
  • Resolve billing issues and discrepancies related to underpayments or overpayments.
  • Process credits and adjustments as authorized by management.


Qualifications for the Receivables Management Specialist:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Capable of managing a wide range of tasks and prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the role and the organization, with flexibility to work additional hours when required. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Experience in collections is preferred, but training will be provided.
