JOB DESCRIPTION
Employer Shared Responsibility Specialist

The primary role involves overseeing client onboarding, continuous management, and serving as the representative for a key product offering known as Employer Shared Responsibility Services (ESR).

This position requires responding to inquiries via written communication and phone calls from clients utilizing ESR services. Additionally, it involves providing technical product assistance to Sales and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Addressing written and telephonic inquiries from clients, Sales, and Operations teams, while also initiating outbound calls as necessary to facilitate the onboarding of ESR clients. This includes granting access to the Health & Benefits platform, addressing queries regarding Analysis & Monitoring reports, IRS 6056 Tax Filing, and clarifying the Employer Shared Mandate regulations.

Collecting and analyzing data from both internal resources such as AskIt, iComm, Salesforce, and external sources including the IRS website and Department of Treasury to resolve issues related to ESR services, while fostering positive and professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Employing analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed recommendations to clients and Sales and Operations teams, ensuring all client inquiries are addressed accurately and effectively.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new and existing client account configurations, associated systems, and ESR processes to guarantee the resolution of client issues.

Accurately documenting all internal and external communications to track client needs and responses from the organization.

Serving as a resource in product-related initiatives concerning ESR Regulations, product testing, or training sessions as needed.

Providing training and mentorship to less experienced team members and contract employees to ensure all staff are informed on current policies and procedures.

Accountable for meeting departmental service level agreements within ESR Services.
Ensuring ongoing client satisfaction through efficient processes and service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or insurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
