Job Summary
We are pleased to announce an opening for a dedicated and skilled Administrative Support Assistant II to join our Facilities Management team. This role is designed to provide comprehensive administrative, financial, and clerical assistance within a dynamic department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of office support tasks.

Temporary Employment Services (TES) is a division of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, dedicated to fulfilling the temporary staffing needs of the university. TES recruits qualified temporary employees across various roles to support the campus community. Temporary positions may arise for several reasons, including:
- Covering for regular employees during absences
- Providing additional support during peak workload periods
- Assisting with special projects
- Seasonal employment
- Responding to emergencies
Note: AU student employees are not eligible for TES positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including data collection, management, correspondence, filing, calendar coordination, event planning, mail handling, phone support, supply ordering, and website upkeep.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, payroll processing, travel and expense reporting, and other financial responsibilities.
- Provide guidance to staff, students, and clients regarding standard policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between departments, students, faculty, customers, and external vendors on behalf of management.
- Utilize computer systems to manipulate and prepare data, reports, and other information.
- May undertake additional administrative duties such as budget oversight, human resources functions, cash handling, report preparation, and project coordination.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced), including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Adobe PDF for document editing
- Associate's Degree
- Familiarity with Auburn University systems such as Banner and TigerBuy
$15.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
