Employer Shared Responsibility Specialist
The individual in this role will oversee client onboarding, continuous management, and serve as the primary representative for a specialized service offering known as Employer Shared Responsibility Services (ESR).
This position involves addressing inquiries via written communication and phone calls from clients utilizing ESR services. The specialist will also provide technical product assistance to Sales and Operations teams.Key Responsibilities
Responds to client inquiries through various communication channels, collaborates with Sales and Operations teams, and makes outbound calls as necessary to facilitate the onboarding of ESR clients. Responsibilities include granting access to the Health & Benefits portal, clarifying details regarding Analysis & Monitoring reports, IRS 6056 Tax Filing, and the Employer Shared Mandate regulations.
Collects and analyzes data from internal systems such as AskIt, iComm, Salesforce, as well as external sources like the IRS website and the Department of Treasury to address issues related to ESR services, while fostering positive and professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Employs analytical and problem-solving skills to provide suitable recommendations to clients and Sales and Operations teams, ensuring all inquiries are resolved effectively and accurately.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new and existing client account configurations, relevant systems, and ESR processes to guarantee efficient resolution of client concerns.
Accurately documents all internal and external communications to track client needs and responses from the organization.Acts as a resource for product-related initiatives involving ESR Regulations, product testing, or training sessions as needed.
Provides training and mentorship to less experienced staff and contract employees within the team to ensure all personnel are well-versed in policies and procedures.
Accountable for meeting departmental service level agreements within ESR Services.Ensures ongoing client satisfaction through effective processes and service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or insurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
