HSE Compliance Advisor

Location:
Anchorage, AK – North Slope (Travel Required)

Reports to:
Corporate HSE Manager

Salary Range:
$36 - $43 Hourly

Schedule:
M-S, 6am – 6pm, 4 x 1 (4 weeks on / 1 week off)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous HSE Compliance Advisor to enhance our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing HSE initiatives that ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of work environments to pinpoint potential hazards.
- Analyze safety incident data to formulate strategies aimed at accident prevention.
- Stay informed on local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with department leaders to customize training for specific roles and associated risks.
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective recommendations.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.
- Implement initiatives to boost employee participation in safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training activities, and incidents for the Corporate HSE Manager.

Qualifications:
- Experience working in the North Slope region / NSTC Training Card.
- CHST Certification (Required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and constructive feedback.
- Capability to mentor and coach team members.
- Willingness to adhere to a rotational work schedule (4x1).
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and recordkeeping standards.
- Valid driver's license and compliance with Udelhoven's vehicle operation requirements.

Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
