Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Wildflower Farms. As a key member of our hospitality operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Clean and prepare function rooms, set equipment according to specifications, and provide required amenities.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Move conference materials, programs, and other items from receiving docks, registration areas, guest rooms, or suites.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Care for equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Accommodate special customer needs, hang banners for meetings and food/beverage functions, and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the events team to ensure a smooth and successful event experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Time Management: Ability to adhere to timelines in completion of set-ups.
  • Scheduling: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Customer Service Skills: Prior customer service training is a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease, 75 pounds occasionally, and higher weights as needed to accomplish guest service.
