Bartender - Solbar

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Solage, a luxury resort in the heart of Napa Valley. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, crafting innovative cocktails, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our bar and restaurant.

• Assist guests with beverage and drink preparation, ensuring a high level of quality and service
• Relate with guests to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
• Be knowledgeable about our drink offerings, including cocktails, spirits, and wine, to assist guests in making informed choices
• Comply with Solage's standards and procedures for bar and restaurant operations
• Contribute to improving F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about drinks, cocktails, spirits, and other menu items, specials, and prices
• Accurately and quickly take and place orders, inputting them into the Micros system to ensure correct timing and billing
• Prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment or signature, as required
• Operate, maintain, and properly clean all bar equipment and fittings
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper food-handling skills and food safety guidelines

• One year of experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, with experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position
