Job Summary

O'Hara's Son Roofing Company is seeking a highly skilled Regional Service Foreman to lead our commercial roofing service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of roofing service and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Supervision: Lead and direct a team of service technicians in executing roofing service and maintenance projects, coordinating tasks, and ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Roofing Inspections and Assessments: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial roofing systems, identify and assess issues, and document findings and recommended repair or maintenance actions.
  • Roofing Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of commercial roofing systems, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and apply appropriate sealants and coatings.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety policies and protocols, follow industry best practices, and conduct quality inspections to verify work meets established standards.
  • Equipment and Material Handling: Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery, ensure proper care and storage, and assist in inventory management.
  • Work Order Execution: Review and interpret work orders, coordinate with managers and coordinators, and efficiently execute work orders.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, address their questions and concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Communication: Utilize our service software platform to accurately record and document service activities, maintain awareness of timing, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in commercial roofing are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry, with a focus on service and maintenance projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Proficient in using various roofing tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to interpret work orders, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, managing a team of service technicians.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and repair techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel long-distance throughout the year.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player attitude is a must.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to complete certification.
