Division Director, Division of Graduate Education

The National Science Foundation is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the Division Director of the Division of Graduate Education. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals in shaping the future of graduate education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Division of Graduate Education in developing and implementing programs that support graduate training, promote innovations, and build the knowledge base to inform improvements in graduate education in STEM fields.
- Manage the division's budget, staff, and resources to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other NSF divisions, directorates, and external organizations to advance the mission and vision of the National Science Foundation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of the division's programs and resources.
- Represent the National Science Foundation at national and international forums to promote the importance of graduate education in STEM fields.
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a STEM field or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role in graduate education, research, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs and policies in graduate education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with the National Science Foundation's mission and vision.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of education policy issues at the federal and state levels.
- Experience in building coalitions and partnerships with external organizations to advance the mission and vision of the National Science Foundation.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
